NYC; day1 night2

My oh my, New York has my heart. Today's day was filled with lots of walking. (duh) tons of laughs, and a bunch of layers! The weather today was absolutely perfect, a high of around 47 and a sky full of sunshine! We woke around 10:30ish to start getting ready for the day. By the time we showered, did our makeup/ hair and tried on three different outfits each it was nearly time for lunch. We didn't have to venture far from our hotel because of our location there are literally restaurants and cafes everywhere you look. So Shake Shack it was, we enjoyed a nice lunch of a hot dog, burger, and fries topped off with their special sauce! Mmm YUM! After lunch Nicole was on a mission to find a coat and H&M was only a few blocks down. After doing some browsing three stories worth that is, we walked down a little farther to FOREVER XXI and oh my stars that place was haven! So many corals and spring clothes I wanted to just blow all my money then and there! After we did some successful shopping we decided to roam a bit. Of course we went to Times Square where we took way too many toresty pictures, and had to shove a countless amount of ticket guys away. We spend so much time walking in Central Park and didn't cover even a forth of the park. You could spend days in there, literally. Bloomingdale's was next on our stop, I found myself channeling my inner Blair Waldorf, while Nicole was stressing over which Chanel sunglasses to purchase. Yes this is our life, and no were not going to apologize for how awesome we are. Moving swiftly on, we found ourselves gravitating towards the nearest Starbucks to clench our thirst, where we took a much needed time out for a while. Nap time was next for me, while Nicole chose to watch a few episodes of FRIENDS.

A friend of mine took a trip to New York over the summer and suggested tonight's restaurant choice, The Jekyll and Hyde Club. We enjoyed the theatrics of the servers and workers, while grubbing on some chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes. The temperature started to drop and wind pick up, so we quickly made our way to Sephora, then Urban Outfitters. Our final stop for the night was a three story Barnes and Noble (man did I think forever was heaven, oh I was mistaken) we stopped in their cafe to eat our first cheese cake of the tip, and just sit and talk. Now back in our hotel room we are extremely tired and ready to relax!
